The principal of LDE, Kevin LaPierre (a licensed Oregon Engineer), spent more than 7 years in the residential construction industry before receiving a BS in Civil Engineering and a Master's in Structural Engineering. Kevin LaPierre spent more than 9 years working in commercial and heavy civil construction quickly rising through the project management levels before deciding to found LDE in 2015. Since founding LDE Kevin has focused on custom residential projects as an owner’s representative, consultant on hardened structures, and all facets of making projects a success for clients. He is always interested in hearing new ideas and has gained valuable experience working alongside design teams and construction teams to lead them to the best project approach and design. LDE provides clients with the family business trustworthiness and friendliness as well as the large company reliability, product and attention to detail. 

LDE is a family owned and operated design and engineering firm located in southern Oregon. Through partnerships with different engineers and architects we have a highly qualified team that is licensed in numerous states.  

The owner of LaPierre Design & Engineering LLC is also the owner of LaPierre Construction LLC; a licensed and bonded construction company which offers a full range of construction and project management services.
